4K students prepared for First Stage's production of 'Adventures with the Three Little Pigs' this week by constructing cardboard box houses, play-acting the story, and huffing and puffing to blow paint around!

We're beginning to see signs of spring at Wheatland! 7th & 8th grade engineers used SketchUp to design seed-starting pots, which they printed using the MakerBot 3D printer. They'll use their creations to cultivate vegetable plants as part of their ecosystems unit with Mrs. Horton, Mrs. Zirbel and Mr. Mulhollon. Students will also create enclosed ecosystems with aquatic and terrestrial features.

Wheatland sixth grade students had the incredible opportunity to visit the Milton House, a historic site that was part of the Underground Railroad. They traveled back in time, walking the path of history as they followed the tunnel that slaves took to shelter on their route to freedom.
Fourth grade students had an incredible time learning about real world applications of fractions and decimals yesterday at Luisa’s Pizza!
