45 Fifth Graders Graduate from the D.A.R.E. Program!
On November 17th, Wheatland Center School saw 45 fifth graders graduate from the ten-week D.A.R.E. program.
Deputy Rowe from the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department worked with the students on weekly assignments, role playing, and the importance of making the right choice when it comes to drugs and alcohol.
Many thanks to the parents, friends, and family that joined us on graduation day. A special thank you is also extended to our “favorite” Deputy for taking the time to inform the students about such serious issues and help them see that they do have a choice!
Thank you Deputy Rowe.
We also want to acknowledge our very supportive PTO for providing the cake for our graduation ceremony.
Congratulations Fifth Grade!
